Inaugurated in March 2026 by His Majesty The King, the King Charles III England Coast Path stretches for 2,700 miles on the English Coast.

It is the longest managed coastal walking route in the world, providing access to our stunning and varied coastline. When combined with the 870 mile Wales Coast Path, and over 3,000 miles of the Scottish coast, you can walk the entire coastline of Britain.

Linking existing national trails (including the South West Coast Path and sections of the Cleveland Way and South Downs Way), the England Coast Path incorporates a number of newly opened sections of national trail. Why not be one of the first to explore them?
