OVERVIEW
About this
bespoke
trip
This trip was organised for two family members who wanted to walk the Coast to Coast Path National Trail from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay. Our walkers wanted to experience Alfred Wainwright’s famous trail while keeping an eye on overall costs. We proved that a tighter budget doesn't mean compromising on character!
At Walk Your Way, we enjoy working with a huge range of accommodation providers and built these walkers an itinerary that matched their budget. We combined comfortable hotels and ‘pub with rooms’ accommodation with four nights in hostels. Located right on the trail, these hostels offer a warm welcome to walkers in amazing locations. They also provide self-catering opportunities and the chance to stay in some unique buildings, including a converted Methodist chapel.
These clients were fit and confident walkers, allowing us to introduce some longer days into their itinerary. We built-in a rest day in Keld, enabling them to enjoy comfortable accommodation and a chance to explore beautiful Swaledale.
These clients were happy to carry their own bags, but we can offer baggage transfer if required. These walkers benefitted from Walk Your Way’s detailed trip information pack (outlining their day to day itinerary), GPX mapping of their specific route and personalised support from the Walk Your Way team
